Everyone is talking about Jailbreaking their iPhone, iPad, or iPod
Touch. But what does this really mean ? Basically, it allows you to
install 3rd party applications that aren’t available in the iTunes App
Store. There are alot of cool apps out there that enable your iPhone to
do so much more, but Steve Job (Apple CEO) wont allow them into the App
Store. This is where jailbreaking comes into play. You jailbreak your
iPhone then you can a third party installer called Cydia on your
dashboard which allows you to install 3rd party Apps. In order to do a
software carrier unlock you will need your iPhone jailbroken first,
this is the primary reason jailbreaking came into play in the first
place. To find out if your device is compatible to be jailbroken....
